We’d like to introduce you to Delphine Lohezic, our CentrEd Manager. Delphine hails from Nantes, a city on the Loire River in West France. She moved to London in July 2011 and joined the CentrEd team in February 2016.
We took time out to chat to Delphine, over freshly baked pastries from our onsite bakery. Here’s what she had to say…
Tell us about your role at CentrEd:
My role is to manage all the events that take place in CentrEd, providing clients with a single point of contact from the planning stage through to delivery on the day. I work across a variety of departments from operations to sales and marketing, ensuring that clients have everything they need to ensure their event runs smoothly.
What inspired you to work in events?
When I was 18, my first job was working with an association for expatriates in my home town. As part of that internship I was involved in organising their 10th anniversary celebration. I loved that part of the job so much that I wanted a career in events from then on!
What do you like most about your role?
Definitely the wide variety of interesting people that I get to meet. I feel very privileged to work with lots of different people, who run a variety of different events. Working across everything from training and meetings to networking events, graduate recruitment programmes and seminars means that no two days at CentrEd are ever the same!
Your top tip for hosting an event at CentrEd:
We look at every event individually so feel free to challenge me with your bespoke requirements. It’s up to me to find a solution and make your event work for you and your delegates.
Tell us something interesting about yourself:
I lived in Beijing for 3 years and can speak Mandarin.
