You are what you eat and when it comes to keeping your delegates switched on during meetings or training days, we strongly believe that food is an enabler for successful events.

According to research by the World Health Organisation, the right food increases brain power, motivation and overall productivity by up to 20 percent. At CentrEd, our dedicated restaurant menu is designed to fuel the body and mind, with the right balance of protein, carbohydrates and fats. Here are our five top superfoods that will boost your delegates’ brain power for more productive meetings and training.

Salmon

There are plenty of fish in the sea that will give your delegates a much-needed productivity boost, but salmon is the real star when it comes to optimal brain power. Salmon is high in omega-3 fatty acids which boosts brain capacity and improves your ability to recall information. The CentrEd restaurant has fish dishes to suit every taste from smoked haddock with spinach and hollandaise, a leaner grilled tuna steak or superfood salmon and watercress tart paired with protein-rich soft poached egg.

Green tea

Desperate for your next cup of java? If your delegates are starting to look sleepy, consider serving green tea instead of coffee. Green tea is a natural energy booster containing B vitamins, folic acid, manganese, potassium, magnesium, and caffeine. Matcha tea in particular is popular across the pond. Match is when the entire green tea leaf is ground into a fine powder and consumed — giving your delegates a hit of fibre and polyphenols, a family of powerful antioxidants.
